We are delighted to announce that Sven Bergelt (Leipzig) will be joining WERK in residence with Glenn Howells Architects from 1st July – 30th September 2015

The residency is part of HALLE14 (Leipzig) scholarship programme exchange@2015.le

HALLE 14 created the scholarship programme exchange@2015.le between Leipzig, Lyon and Birmingham partner cities to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of the city of Leipzig.

The first two fellows selected by HALLE14 will be in Leipzig from May 1 to July 31 in Hall 14, are Tom Castinel ( from Lyon (FR) and Ian Richards ( from Birmingham (UK).

WERK are delighted to work in collaboration with Glenn Howells Architects on this residency. The research-based residency will support the artist to explore the city, public space, architecture and urbanism.

Sven Bergelt will be based in a studio and project space with Glenn Howells Architects, 321 Bradford Street, Digbeth from July – September 2015.

The project space will be open to the public at junctures during the residency - more news to follow.
